DOUBT: A PARABLE
by John Patrick Shanley
“Doubt can be a bond as powerful and sustaining as certainty.” says the progressive Father Flynn in the opening sermon in this award-winning and remarkable script. Kevin Weston directs this production, following his trip to New York to see the recent 2024 revival on Broadway (3 Tony nominations for this most recent production). The script is not only entertaining, a showcase for some fine acting, but also provocative enough to make you wonder as you leave the theatre.

THE MERRY WIVES
OF WINDSOR
by William Shakespeare
Tradition tells us that Queen Elizabeth I commissioned, or requested, this script after seeing HENRY IV, parts I and II. She wanted to see one of the comic characters, “Sir John Falstaff” in love. Thus, the play was born.
Set in the English village of Windsor and its middle-class population of Elizabethan times, Karen Sipes directs this thoroughly entertaining but lesser known comedy in THE ANDERSON MUSEUM OF ART.
